I know what you're thinking. You're not thinking about his tooth, are you?
You're thinking about his hair.
But...
But...
But...
I love his hair long! It's Winter, after all, and he could use the extra warmth on his neck! So, yeah, maybe he has developed a goofy head-jerk habit to keep it out of his eyes. And yeah, maybe it is longer than mine. But he's so cute! And, the lady who usually does his hair is out on medical leave for 4 weeks. So, I've got an excuse--whether or not Hercules thinks it is valid.
Speaking of Hercules' (DH) feelings about Dimples' (and Mowgli's) hair...
I received the following email from Dimples' kindergarten teacher last week. Remember that Hercules is the principal at the kids' school, and keep in mind his selfish desire for a Dimples haircut.
Subject: Concern
Hey Terri- Do not be mad at me, but I am writing to you to let you know that I believe (Dimples') hair is getting in the way of his academics. Maybe a haircut would not be a bad thing to do before your son has a neck injury. If you have any questions please call me.
...to which I replied (sarcastically, of course):
I appreciate your concern for my son's well being. I trust your judgement thoroughly, and am confident that your email was not at all connected with the wishes of my husband, who also happens to be the principal of the school, in case you were unaware. I am positive, actually, that it was spurred by your own sentiments for the health of your student, my son. What a kind and considerate person you are! I am blessed to know you, as my children are blesssed to have you in their academic lives.
With highest regard and utter gratitude for your beautiful expression of selfless concern,
Mrs. Fischer

Can you believe the abuse of power my husband has resorted to? Shame.

I think the shaggy hair is really cute, but I can also see it being a problem in regards to, um, seeing.
Hank has the same tooth (teeth) lose now too. His first one! I bet K is just as excited as Hank (which is to say Hank's more excited about catching up w/his big sister than actually losing a tooth).
I think you should keep it long. If you get it cut, the girls will get a good look at him and they would be all over him... This way he has some space... Hey hook up that tooth to his hair, eventually it will be pulled out by his brother.

Frickin' HILARIOUS!!! I think the boys are rather TRENDY! A sort of "surfer-meets-snowboarder-meets-rugged outdoorsy" type...
Whatever the boys want. I like it long. However, you should start putting Corbin in dreads, just to make the teacher lol. :)
Okay...I LOVE long hair...must be the hippie in me. No matter...he's adorable and the hair is awesome...sorry Herc.
And, actually, the first thing I thought of when I saw the picture is: "Boy...he looks A LOT like T!!!!!"
The hair was 2nd, and actually only connected to the thought -- wow, that's one cute kid!! (1st was WOW he's growing up, a loose tooth!) But I can see the point of the neck-jerking thing not being that great, or not being able to see (it would drive me nuts, personally). LOL re: his teacher. LOL re: dreads.
I agree with the majority.. the hair is great!!
Tell DH to keep his personal opinions away from the workplace :)
Love the hair also. I say while it's growing, let it grow. There may be a time (God forbid) when he will be praying for long hair, short hair, ANY HAIR. ROF, LOL
As soon as I learn some big words, I will write more blogs. Right now, after Phaelan, I know only 3 and 4 letter words. Not those!!!
